"We're not just muses" by Aurore Evain
Actor, author, director and theater historian, Aurore Evain's talk will help us rediscover our theatrical heritage through the case of the first actresses and authors of European theater. Exploring the history of women theatre-makers, she will discuss the mechanisms that led to their erasure, notably through language, as well as the contemporary issues involved in bringing their works to light. At the end of this journey through time, she will return to the literary mystery surrounding the author who is probably hidden behind the name "Shakespeare".
